August, 2024 - Gearing up for a new recording of the Concord Sonata
Amidst the summer bar-b-cues and get togethers, it is high time to begin working towards the recording of the monumental Concord Sonata by Charles Ives. It's been several years since I last played this piece in public, and although many have encouraged me to record my interpretation of this work, the sheer amount of focus required to pull off such a project has eluded me - until now. With a lighter schedule and some of time on my hands it is now apparent that this recording must be the next big project. We'll keep all informed as to its progress, but I think a late 2024 or early 2025 release date is to be expected.

May 11, 2024 - Leviathan Receives Performance by the O.S.F.L
The Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes recently performed "Leviathan" at the historic Clemens Center in Elmira, NY. Under the baton of Maestro Toshi, this energetic overture opened a concert that featured the music of Gershwin. As an added treat, my good friend Bryan Pezzone was the featured pianist for the evening. It was a good time had by all.

May 8, 2024 - DaCapo releases "Lessons from the Park"
"Lessons from the Park" is a short book on life principles inspired by my visits to Yellowstone. While only 36 pages, it is full of insights about life and behavior, and I was happy to finally write these observations and gleanings.
